David Fifita's insane stats for 2021 revealed

David Fifita’s insane stats for 2021 show why many regard him as the best attacking forward in the game.

In his first season at the club, Fifita scored 17 tries in 22 appearances – more than any other Titans player.

Not just that, but his 17 tries are the most by any forward this season, 5 more than runner-up Roosters backrower Sitili Tupouniua on 12.

David also made the most tackle breaks in the NRL this season with 155, beating the likes of James Tedesco, Brian To’o, and Dally M recipient Tom Trbojevic.

When asked about his backrower’s form, Titans Coach Justin Holbrook says he couldn't ask more from his young backrower this season.

“For a new recruit to come in and have that big an impact straight away, I couldn’t ask more from him and it’s a great sign for the future and our club.

“He’s a great young man that’s only going to get better.”

Adding to his prolific try-scoring and tackle-breaking stats, Dave also led the Titans in offloads and linebreaks this season.

His 22 line breaks were the most by any forward in the NRL, and his 44 offloads were the sixth most in the competition.

Combining these attacking stats, it’s easy to see why many NRL experts picked Fifita in their Dally M Team of the Year.

Finals Factor: David Fifita

After injury limited David’s impact toward the end of the season, the young forward is excited to return for pre-season training with a clean bill of health.

“I know what I need to work on in pre-season this time around.

“I want to train harder, get fitter and get my body right for a bigger 2022.

“I’m excited to build on what we achieved this year and compete for the top 8 again next season.”
