The Gold Coast Titans have released halfback Jamal Fogarty from the remainder of his contract to allow him to explore other long-term opportunities.
Fogarty has played 39 games for the Titans over the past two seasons, adding to the two games he played on the Gold Coast in 2017.
The 27-year-old’s impact extended to his work off-field and he was recognised as a nominee for the NRL’s Ken Stephen Medal in 2021 for his work in the community.
“Jamal has played an important role at our Club over the past two seasons and has been the ultimate professional,” Titans Coach Justin Holbrook said.
“I want to thank him for the contribution that he has made to the Titans and we wish Jamal, Kahlia and their family all the best for the future.”
Fogarty will join the Canberra Raiders for the 2022 season.
