Anticipation is building for the start of the 2022 pre-season with an iconic Queensland derby to kick-start the new year.
The Gold Coast Titans will meet the Brisbane Broncos in the club's first trial match at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday, February 19.
Both sides have a raft of new signings and won one game each in their two Telstra Premiership fixtures last season, so bragging rights are on the line in the highly-awaited encounter.

The following week on Saturday, February 26, the Titans will travel to Redcliffe to play the Warriors, with the two sides again clashing in the pre-season.
Last year, the match between the two finished in a draw at Lismore; and both teams squared the ledger in the two matchups in 2021.
No trial matches have been confirmed yet for the Titans' NRLW side, with the squad returning to the training paddock this week.
