Proctor focused on Titans after All Stars success

"We're back to being teammates again and he doesn't hate me anymore."

With that statement and a laugh, Kevin Proctor has switched his intent to the Titans 2022 campaign and believes good mate and teammate, David Fifita, has done the same.

Kevin Proctor discusses All Stars 2022

With six Titans representing across the Maori All Stars and Indigenous All Stars on Saturday night, they were bound to cross paths in a game charged with emotion.

"We had a little giggle out there," Proctor said of his friendly run-in with teammate David Fifita.

"I actually had a penalty against me for one of the tackles I did.

"It was unnecessary rough conduct, but I thought it was ok.

"It's all friendly banter."

For Proctor and his Titans teammates it was a first chance to put their pre-season training to the test and the 22-Test veteran was happy with the hit out.

"Footy wise, I didn't think I went to too bad, and just did my job and that's what I normally try and do," Proctor said.

"The lungs felt alright, which is good, and great just to get the cobwebs out."

More than just a game though it was a week of culture and learning, for which  Proctor called out Titans teammate and All Stars rookie Erin Clark for special praise.

"It is always awesome to be able to represent the Maori team again and reconnecting back with my culture and all the boys beginning to learn about where they are from in New Zealand," Proctor said.

"It's always an awesome week in camp and something I am really grateful for.

"During the week I think they (new players) embraced everything really well.

"It was Ez's (Clark) first Maori camp and he was loving it.

"He thought he was back in New Zealand.

"For him to connect to his culture again and I thought they all (Titans teammates) played really well."
