“My favourite thing about Karina is that she is a leader, she is very inclusive and helps us to be motivated to do the things we like to do,” she said.
Karina has always been passionate about female participation in Rugby League and has even written a song with Jess Harlen called ‘She’s Got Confidence.’
Karina says the song was inspired by young female rugby league players and chasing after their dreams.
"We thought it would turn out to be a very powerful song with a very important message for young girls to be positive and be whoever they want to be to take opportunities and believe in themselves I suppose,” Brown said.
The Veronica White Medal is for NRLW players who show outstanding service and dedication to the community outside of their regular Club commitments. You can vote for Karina, here.
