Injury report: Thompson return imminent; Liu passes HIA protocols

Not only was the 20-18 Round 2 victory great news for the Titans, but so was the casualty ward... with no Gold Coast stars reporting any injuries.

The only concern was with Isaac Liu, who left the field for a head injury assessment in the 68th minute; although the experienced prop passed his test on game day and was subsequently given the green light by medical staff to return against the Raiders this Saturday.

In other injury news, contrary to media reports suggesting Corey Thompson will return this week, the high-flying winger isn't expected back from suffering a fractured hand until potentially Round 4, if not later. He is currently being monitored by medical staff.

A number of other Titans who played for Burleigh or Tweed in the weekend's Hostplus Cup also sustained injuries from those matches.

See below for the club's comprehensive injury report with Titans high performance manager Klint Hoare.
