It is only day one for Jamayne Isaako, but already he has been named in the club's extended squad for round 2 of the Telstra Premiership.

The versatile back adds experience and depth to a Titans side full of youth and speed.

Speaking to titans.com.au after signing, Isaako said he was looking forward to getting to work.

"Absolutely. Looking forward to being apart of the squad and coming to the club," he said.

"I am looking forward to getting into training and meeting the boys."

Isaako has been involved in a number of 'local derbies' between the Titans and Broncos, but gets the chance in season 2022 to play for the Titans and he says it is something he has always wanted to do.

"Playing (against) the Titans a few times it has always been a bit of a dream to come down the Coast," he said.

"Signing today is a big accomplishment for myself and my family.

Titans Coach Justin Holbrook is equally excited about what Isaako can offer the club this season.

“Jamayne is experienced at NRL level and has played on the international stage,” Holbrook said.

“He adds great depth to our outside backs and provides us with coverage across both the fullback and wing positions.

“We’ve got strong competition across a number of positions and adding Jamayne gives us another exciting option to choose from in our backline.

“We had kept a spot on our roster open and we’re thrilled that we are now able to add Jamayne to our team.
