Injury report: Campbell, Brimson monitored

The Gold Coast Titans experienced a few bumps and bruises in their Round 3 clash against the Canberra Raiders.

With only a five-day turnaround until Thursday night's showdown against the Wests Tigers, Titans high performance manager Klint Hoare has all the latest on the players currently being monitored by medical staff.

Jayden Campbell

The Titans fullback is currently being reviewed and an MRI is expected to provide an update on the extent of his rib injury sustained in the opening half against Canberra.

His training week will be dependent upon this as well as his availability for Thursday night's derby against the Wests Tigers given a five-day turnaround.

AJ Brimson

Recovering from a recent ab injury, Brimson pulled up ok post his second game of 2022 and with a short turnaround, there will be a recovery focus for AJ early in the week with prioritised involvement in Tuesday's field session.

The five-eighth will be ready to play come Thursday night.

Corey Thompson

The experienced flyer will have his X-Ray assessed on Monday before starting modified contact on field on Tuesday.

Assuming his X-Ray is fine, he will be able to start some skill and progressive contact exposure with aim for an imminent return to play.
