Gold Coast Titans Alofi'ana Khan-Pereira and Tony Francis played a helping hand in Burleigh's convincing win over the Redcliffe Dolphins, keeping the Bears up the top of the Hostplus Cup ladder after Round 3.
It's been an impressive season thus far for young Francis, who is currently second in the try-scoring ranks, crossing the line on four occasions over his three appearances, as well as topping the line-breaks with five.
The Bears remain equal first in the Hostplus Cup competition; meanwhile, it was a gritty performance from Tweed against the defending premiers Norths Devils, going down 13-4 in a tough performance.
The Seagulls sit seventh as they prepare to meet their fellow Gold Coast Titans feeder club in Sunday's XXXX Rivalry Round derby clash at Pizzey Park.
