NRL 2022: Titans, Brimson back for Cronulla contest at Coffs

The Gold Coast Titans will receive a huge boost for this weekend's clash against the Cronulla Sharks, with AJ Brimson to return to the starting side.

Brimson was a late withdrawal from the Titans side last round due to COVID, but is expected to be fit to line up at fullback for the clash against the Sharks.

He will train off-site until mid-week when he hopes to be cleared to return to the main squad.

Esan Marsters is the player to make way for Brimson, with Paul Turner set to play his second game for the club at five-eighth.

Erin Clark has been named at hooker despite picking up a rib injury last round, while Jojo Fifita has come into considerations for a Titans debut after being named as 18th man.

After starting from the bench last game upon his return from Origin, Captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui is expected to return to the starting side at lock, with Moeaki Fotuaika moving to the bench.

Kevin Proctor continues his comeback from a bicep injury and has been named in the extended squad.
