Affiliate wrap: Jojo gets back to business to help Tweed down Capras

Jojo Fifita has returned to the Hostplus Cup in style, playing a huge role in Tweed's gritty 18-12 victory over the top-four Central Queensland Capras in Rockhampton on Saturday.

The 19-year-old sensation notched up another four-pointer to his tally as well as topping the Seagulls' run metres tally with 133, and recording four tackle breaks, a line break and a try assist in his 80 minute performance on the wing.

Sam Lisone also made the trip north to the Beef Capital - playing a role in the forward pack - as did Tom Weaver, as he edges closer to a Hostplus Cup debut after sitting on the pine as the 18th man at the weekend.

Burleigh suffered a shock loss to the Northern Pride on Saturday afternoon, going down 26-22 to the Cairns-based outfit at Barlow Park.

Five Titans lined up in the clash with Tony Francis and Jacob Alick both scoring tries, featuring alongside fellow teammates Alofiana Khan-Pereira, Esan Marsters and Aaron Booth.

The Bears will play host to the Jets next Saturday; meanwhile, the Seagulls head north to Redcliffe to face the Dolphins.
