Slater sticks solid for Game III

Two Gold Coast Titans will once again be part of the Queensland Maroons squad with coach Billy Slater selecting Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Beau Fermor for Game III of the State of Origin series.

Queensland Maroons coach Billy Slater has made only one change for the decider with Tom Gilbert coming in for Felise Kaufusi, who is unavailable for the Suncorp Stadium stoush due to family reasons.

Gilbert has been named on the interchange bench, with fellow Cowboy Jeremiah Nanai promoted to the starting side in Kaufusi’s absence.

Maroons selectors have also added Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (North Queensland Cowboys) and Sam Walker (Sydney Roosters) to the squad.

Game III of the series will be played at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on July 13.
