Round 22 team: Engine room bolstered for Sunday afternoon showdown
The Gold Coast Titans have upped the ante with grunt in their pack for the Round 22 showdown against the Manly Sea Eagles at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Ready to down the Eagles in the club's penultimate home game of the year, coach Justin Holbrook has only made one forced change to the team that travelled to Melbourne last Friday night.
With Erin Clark moving back to hooker to fill the vacant dummy-half role after Aaron Booth’s devastating season-ending injury, Isaac Liu moves to lock, which opens the door for Sam McIntyre to back-up his performance in Melbourne with another important role off the bench.
Patrick Herbert is also expecting to return after being ruled out late last week with injury, which pushes Greg Marzhew back to the pine to play an impact role in the No. 14 jersey.
The remainder of the side remains unchanged – including the spine of Jayden Campbell, AJ Brimson and Tanah Boyd, who will relish being back on a dry track at home.
