Injury update: Erin Clark

In disappointing news for Titans fans, Gold Coast rake Erin Clark will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.

Initially thought to be only a minor bump from the Round 22 win against the Manly Sea Eagles, further scans on Tuesday revealed the recently re-signed versatile forward suffered an injury to his meniscus in his left knee that required an arthroscopic procedure, which he underwent on Wednesday night.

The only Titan to have played all 21 games this season, he is set to be sidelined for 8-12 weeks, which will allow him to be fresh, fit and healthy for the upcoming 2023 pre-season, which will begin at the end of this year.

Clark's surgery was successful and he is currently resting at home ahead of beginning rehabilitation with the club over the next three months.
