Evania Pelite excited to run out in front of Titans fans this Sunday

New season, Same energy.

Olympic Gold Medallist and Gold Coast Titans marquee star Evania Pelite believes her side has what it takes to compete for the NRLW premiership this season.

Speaking to Ben Davis this week on SEN, Pelite said that belief in the players around her that led her to resign for a second NRLW season.

"I re-signed with the Gold Coast because I had a really enjoyable time in season one.

"Unfortunately it didn't go our way (last year), but I still have a lot of belief and faith in the squad that we can pull off something incredible this season."

With the side now preparing for their sole home game in round 2 of the 2022 season, this weekend's clash with the Newcastle Knights is a special one for Pelite and her side in front of the Titans Legion.

"The last time we played at Cbus we had that incredible win over the Broncos, so I can't wait to get back out there.

"There's nothing better than playing at Cbus, it's an incredible field to play on."
