Injury report: Gray working towards return

After having to withdraw late from last week's local derby against the Broncos, Gold Coast forward Tazmin Gray is hoping to overcome an ankle injury before the conclusion of 2022.

Having not played a game in the new season to date, the Origin back-rower was due to return in Round 3, before a further setback prevented her from running out on the field for the clash up the M1 on Saturday.

Gray will remain sidelined this week again whilst working with Titans medicos to regain full fitness and make her season debut.

In other injury news, Annette Brander has been sent for scans after a calf complaint has kept her out of this week's clash against Parramatta.

Hailee-Jay Ormond-Maunsell has also been rested and is currently completing the NRL's return to play concussion protocols after failing her head injury assessment in the contest against the Broncos.
