Future Titans ready for Queensland derby

The Future Titans will be motivated to avenge last week's narrow defeat to Newcastle and there's no better opportunity against their Queensland rivals this weekend.

Facing off against the Brisbane Broncos, it's anticipated a large crowd will attend Burleigh JRL to watch a super Saturday of rugby league which will not only feature the next generation of Gold Coast stars but the region's affiliate clubs in action ahead of their seasons kicking off next month.

In particular, Cooper Bai, Sam Stephenson and Sunny Karma are aiming to build on their outstanding performances in last week's Under 17s tussle, backing-up captain Joseph Pouniu who was also impressive up front as the side's leader.

The first game kicks off at 1pm, with the main clash between the Titans and Broncos to take centre stage at 5pm.
