Sam McIntyre will assume dummy-half duties from the opening whistle against the Broncos, with the Titans locking in their trial side in the countdown to kick-off at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

The makeshift No. 9 did an admirable job in his two games in that position at the backend of last year and with an injury to Chris Randall through the week ruling out the new recruit, Justin Holbrook has thrusted the responsibility onto the versatile utility for this week with Sam Verrills set to take the reins next Sunday against the Dolphins.

Aaron Schoupp has also been confirmed as a starter for his first outing in Gold Coast colours despite suffering a laceration on his face at training on Wednesday.
