Tino charges up Dally M ladder alongside Origin rival

Tino Fa'asuamaleaui has shot up the Dally M Medal count, now sitting second alongside his Origin rival Payne Haas after Round 3 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Earning a maximum six points in the weekend's win against his former club, the Titans captain now has nine votes to his name, thanks to a inspirational 65 minutes on the field, running for 145 metres and making 21 tackles without a miss.

Three other Titans received votes this weekend - AJ Brimson and Aaron Schoupp both earning two and Alofiana's Khan-Pereira two-try haul helping him earn his first Dally M point.

The standout performance from the Titans No. 1 in Saturday's win brings his total to five; with David Fifita tied with his teammate in the tally as well with five.
