Round 6 team: Campbell switch sets up young gun battle in Red V rivalry

Jayden Campbell had a field day last time he wore the No. 1 jersey in a home game against the Dragons, running an incredible 266 metres in a golden-point epic.

Up against fellow youngster Tyrell Sloan, the Titans son of a gun will be hoping to replicate that 2022 Magic Round performance when he takes to the field at fullback this Easter Sunday at Cbus Super Stadium.

One of three forced changes made by Justin Holbrook after enjoying the week off in Round 5 due to the bye, the 23-year-old's promotion to the starting side will see a new face on the interchange bench with Klese Haas named to make his first appearance of 2023.

However, there is also the possibility of new recruit Kruise Leeming making his NRL debut after jetting into training this week from the Leeds Rhinos -  the 187-game Super League star named on the extended bench after joining the Titans squad earlier this week.

Toby Sexton will also play his first game of 2023, named in the No. 6 jersey to fill the vacancy left by Kieran Foran who has failed to overcome a calf injury despite all his efforts to be fit for the clash.

The talented playmaker will come into the side fresh from an impressive start of the season playing for the Tweed Seagulls, with his running game coming to the forefront, helping him average a try assist, line break assist and an offload each game across his first four appearances of 2023.

Kick-off against the Dragons is at 4.05pm Easter Sunday at Cbus Super Stadium.
