Injury report: Sexton ruled out after Easter Sunday heroics

Titans playmaker Toby Sexton won't get an opportunity to back-up his inspirational Easter Sunday performance with injury ruling out the young gun from this weekend's local derby against Brisbane.

Fracturing his scaphoid in the contest, the 22-year-old will be sidelined for the next four-to-six weeks after playing through the pain during the 20-18 victory against the Dragons, which included his match-winning try in the 76th minute.

Whilst disappointing for him to be ruled out, it has opened the door for experienced half Kieran Foran to return in the 17, replacing Sexton as Tanah Boyd's partner-in-crime.

In further good news, Jojo Fifita is back at full fitness and training with the main group, named on the Titans' extended bench for Saturday night's battle against the Broncos.

AJ Brimson has failed to overcome his Grade 2 hamstring strain in-time for the M1 derby, but will be monitored early next week as he nears a return in the coming weeks.
