Future Titans ready for two blockbuster clashes against Auckland

Fans will be treated to the next generation of Gold Coast talent coming through the ranks with two Future Titans curtain-raisers ahead of this Saturday's local derby against the Broncos.

Taking on a development side from Auckland in both the Under 17 Girls and Under 16 Boys age groups, both games are set to provide plenty of entertainment for the whole family ahead of the main event in front of what it anticipated to be bumper crowd at Cbus Super Stadium.

Kicking off at 4.15pm, the Titans Under 17 Girls will face off against their counterparts from across the ditch, captained by proven leaders Jaida Faleono and Mercedez Taulelei-Siala, who will provide strong motivation and encouragement to the remainder of the squad.

Australian Schoolgirls Tiresa Elika and India Seeto will also be in action after big performances earlier in the year against the Newcastle Knights in Coffs Harbour.

From 5.35pm, it's the Under 16 Boys time to shine as they face Auckland in a clash that is expected to provide a huge battle up front with a number of key match-ups right across the park.

Taylan To'a will provide plenty of excitement on the edge as he runs out for the Future Titans, as will Majah Peachey who has just joined the Titans after re-locating from Perth.

The Northern Rivers also continues to be a breeding ground for rugby league talent with Beau Hartmann (Grafton) and Jimmy McCombie (Byron Bay) set to line-up; as will Jojo Fifita's younger brother Viliami who plays his first game at Cbus Super Stadium since joining the Future Titans program.
