Injury report: Titans to welcome back strike centre

After a tough string of injuries in the opening eight rounds, the Titans can sigh some relief with a number of players on track to return.

This began at the weekend with the return of AJ Brimson (hamstring) and Jojo Fifita (knee) - the pair playing their first NRL game since being sidelined in Round 4 and Round 2 respectively.

Looking ahead to this Saturday, Aaron Schoupp will be available for selection again  after being rested last week to freshen up after a solid first stint at his new club.

In the Casualty Ward, Toby Sexton is progressing well from his fractured scaphoid with the Gold Coast half likely to return to full training in the next few weeks pending an assessment in a fortnight.

Sam Verrills has also started running after going under the knife to repair his fractured collarbone in late March.

Jaimin Jolliffe is progressing well from a ruptured pec - now six weeks post-operation as he continues his rehabilitation to return later this season.

Finally, full-time train and trialist and 2024 top 30 forward Ben Liyou will begin running in the coming weeks after suffering a ruptured ACL in the pre-season.
