Titans to clash in BMD Premiership playoffs

It'll be teammate against teammate playing for a big dance ticket in two exciting do-or-die BMD Premiership semi-finals this weekend.

The Gold Coast will proudly boast 10 Titans in action across all four teams competing, all vying to lead their respective QRLW club to title victory.

The top-of-the-table Magpies will first meet the Wynnum Manly in the first clash of the day, with the undefeated Souths Logan outfit boasting a number of International stars, including Evania Pelite at fullback, Chantay Kiria-Ratu in the halves and Brittany Breayley-Nati wearing the No. 9 jersey.

They'll be matched by the Seagulls who are immersed with young guns; including Destiny Mino-Sinapati at fullback, Emily Bass on the wing and Australian Schoolgirls halfback Sienna Lofipo in at No. 6.

That will be followed by the-placed Burleigh matched up against the Mackay Cutters, who fell millimetres of inflicting the Magpies' first loss of the season in Townsville last weekend.

The Bears play host to young forwards Dannii Perese, Rilee Jorgensen and Sophie Buller who provide plenty of spark in the engine room; against the Titans' 2022 player of the year Shannon Mato, who has dominated with her BMD Premiership season in North Queensland colours.

Kick-off is from 10.30am Sunday, at Davies Park, West End.

Gold Coast new recruit Shaylee Bent will also be in action this weekend, representing City in the New South Wales Women's Origin trial in Sydney.
