Locked in: Titans aiming to continue streak in Newcastle

The Titans will be aiming to go three on the trot when they travel to Newcastle to face the Knights on Sunday afternoon.

In what will be David Fifita's 50th game for the Gold Coast, the club is chasing their sixth win of the season with a win over the Novocastrians to cement themselves firmly in the top eight after strong back-to-back wins against Manly and Parramatta in the past fortnight.

Only one change has been made to the 1-19 ahead of travelling south with Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui a chance of getting his opportunity to play his fifth game of NRL with the talented front rower joining the Titans bench for Sunday afternoon's clash in Newcastle.

the 21-year-old young brother of captain Tino comes back into contention after a solid 52 minute outing for Burleigh in a top of the table clash last Saturday; running for 135 metres as well as five tackle breaks and 24 tackles to help his Hostplus Cup side to victory.

He and Keano Kini remain in the extended squad, with Aaron Schoupp, Thomas Mikaele and Sam McIntyre the three players omitted from the Round 11 match-up.

Kick-off is at 2pm on Sunday, at McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle.
