Titans fans will get their first chance to catch a glimpse of the club's newest NRLW recruits when the Gold Coast face off against the Cowboys on Saturday, July 1.

In what will be the club's only trial before the 2023 season gets underway, coach Karyn Murphy is looking forward to putting their past month of hard work to the test up against one of the brand new teams to join the expanded competition this year.

"It's good we've locked in the Cowboys to play in a trial… I know we’ve also got them in Round 1, but it'll be a really good opportunity for us," she said.

"Last year everything about [the season] just seemed rushed, so to have this seven-week pre-season to prepare - including a trial - I’m confident we can come together and be a really competitive side this year."

With 13 new faces joining the Titans' top 24 this season, the hit-out to be played at Burleigh will also be a chance for a number of new key combinations to gel for the first time in a game scenario - especially with a number of changes in positions across the starting side.

Kick-off is at 7pm on Saturday, July 1 at UAA Park, Burleigh.
