The Gold Coast Titans longest serving Members were in attendance last night for the annual cocktail event held in their honour.
Dubbed the 'Giant' Member group, this is for Members of the club who have been there since day one or 10+ years through the highs and lows.
The group were treated to insights from CEO Steve Mitchell, who spoke to the challenging last week, the optimism of the club's future under Des Hasler and how the club responded with a inspired victory in the match against the Broncos.
Following the opening address guests were then encouraged to mingle with the players in attendance which included Kieran Foran, David Fifita, Moeaki Fotuaika, Chris Randall, Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui, Jojo Fifita and Tanah Boyd.
Members were able to talk one to one with their Titans stars before hearing from interim head coach Jim Lenihan, followed by Kieran Foran and Tanah Boyd on stage as part of a panel interview.
The latter two discussed their 'bromance,' their love of football and that they are never too far apart from one another, as they both strive to be better each and every single week that they pull on a Titans jersey.
in the case of Jimmy Lenihan, who has been an assistant the last four years, it was a chance for Members to get to know the man that will lead their side for the remainder of the 2023 season.
The night was wrapped up by three Titans who have had a big last seven days in David Fifita and Moeaki Fotuaika, fresh off winning the State of Origin series for Queensland, and Chris Randall who this week inked an extension until 2026 on the Coast.
The three spoke of their passion for the club and wanting to put in an effort to make the Members proud, with Fifita particularly strong on that front.
"We want to be a team that works hard, makes ourselves and our teammates proud, but also makes our fans and you our Members proud," he said.
As Members, players and staff mingled into the night there was an air of optimism and excitement across the group before the side heads to Canberra today to take on the Raiders this Saturday afternoon.
