Injury report: Young guns sidelined for season

Two of the Titans' NRLW rising stars have been dealt a massive blow with the duo suffering season-ending injuries in last Saturday's trial against the Cowboys.

Talented back Brooke Saddler sustained a fractured tibia and fibula early in the first half and is due for surgery on Wednesday after working extremely hard to overcome a similar injury last season; meanwhile, it has been confirmed development player Estanoa Faitala ruptured her ACL in the contest, with no date confirmed yet for surgery.

With both injuries devastating news for the two young guns, the Gold Coast is currently supporting both players as they begin their journey to recovery.

No decision has been made yet on potential replacement players to join the top 24 and development list.
