Locked in: Foran to skipper next generation Titans

The Gold Coast's most experienced campaigner will captain the Titans in their history-making clash against the Dolphins at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday.

With 274 games under his belt, Kieran Foran will lead the team out for the Round 19 contest; which is missing AJ Brimson, Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, David Fifita and Moeaki Fotuaika - the quartet in Camp Maroon on Origin duty ahead of next Wednesday's series finale.

But despite having the awesome foursome away, the squad will boast a number of young and exciting stars to fill the void - including Jayden Campbell who will ably play an important role in the No. 1 jersey, Klese Haas who returns and will start on the edge, as well as Jojo Fifita and debutant Jacob Alick who will both feature off the bench in the clash.

A dream come true: Alick shares excitement of NRL debut

Keano Kini is set to be the 18th man and Kruise Leeming remains in the extended squad, which also included Thomas Mikaele, Ken Maumalo and Tony Francis until their omission 24 hours out from kick-off.

The action commences at 1.15pm on Sunday at Cbus Super Stadium with Tweed and Redcliffe facing off for the Hampo Cup, followed by the Titans Old Boys against the Dolphins Old Boys to raise funds for Joseph Pouniu at 3.05pm.

The first-ever Titans v Dolphins clash at Robina begins at 4.05pm.
