Late mail: Two to make season debut as Titans shuffle forward pack
Karina Brown and Hailee-Jay Ormond-Maunsell will make their first appearance of the new season as handy replacements in the backline for the Titans’ clash against the Sharks on Saturday afternoon.
Replacing Origin stars Jaime Chapman and Emily Bass who were both ruled out ahead of captain’s run due to niggling injuries, the Gold Coast lose nothing with the change given the experience of the incoming players having both been previously selected for International duty.
In other team news ahead of kick-off, Zara Canfield will return from last week’s minor ankle injury with exciting young forward Rilee Jorgensen to remain on the bench after a stellar debut last week.
Brittany Breayley-Nati will also once again begin the game at hooker with Lauren Brown to offer plenty of impact off the interchange.
Kick-off is at 3.10pm on Saturday, live on Channel 9, 9Now, Fox League and Kayo Sports.
