Judiciary update: David Fifita

David Fifita has elected to take the early guilty plea following his shoulder charge from Friday's clash against the Sharks.

In good news, the 23-year-old won't miss any matches and will only be served with a $3,000 fine.

The Titans will also welcome back Moeaki Fotuaika this week having served his one-game ban at the weekend for a careless high tackle.

Gold Coast forward David Fifita has been charged by the match review committee following the Titans' Round 24 clash against the Sharks on Friday.

Being placed on report in the 67th minute for a shoulder charge on Braden Hamlin-Uele, the back-rower has been hit with a grade 1 charge for the tackle in what is deemed to be his second offence.

But in good news for the re-committed Titans star, the early guilty plea will only result in a $3,000 fine. Should he elect to fight the charge and be found guilty at the hearing, he will miss two matches - that being Round 25 against the Panthers and Round 26 against the Storm.

Erin Clark was also sin binned for striking in Friday night's game but has avoided any charges.

No plea has been submitted at this time.
