Injury update: Titans duo sent for scans

Titans coach Jim Lenihan has confirmed Phil Sami and Jayden Campbell will be sent for scans after the pair left the field at various stages of the second half against the Panthers at Cbus Super Stadium.

Campbell was assisted from the field in the 58th minute with a knee injury - many fearing the worst the young gun had ruptured his ACL rupture; but Gold Coast medicos feel the Titans star may have only suffered a patellar subluxation.

"Hopefully it’s just a sublux with his knee cap which is the best case scenario," Lenihan said post-match.

"There was a bit of fear that it could have been his ACL, but obviously we’ll have to see with scans... fingers crossed it’s not the worst."

Sami was ruled out of the match at half-time with a toe complaint, with Titans staff making an early diagnosis on the injury he sustained.

"Maybe he’s done his Lisfranc… so could be a little bit of time off just depending on how bad it is, so we’ll just have see how we go and assess," Lenihan said.

Titans.com.au will provide an update once scan results have returned for the pair.
