Titans thank loyal Legion at double header

The weekend's round 27 NRL match against the Bulldogs brought the Gold Coast Titans NRL season to a close, but it was also a chance to celebrate the incredible support by Titans Members in 2023.

With bumper crowds all season long, record Members and nearly 15,000 on hand for the final round to watch the Titans NRL and NRLW side go round, the support has been immense in season 2023.

The final NRL game of the season was dubbed 'thank you Member round' and Titans Members were involved in nearly every facet of the day and week leading up.

Here are just a few of the activities that took place;

  • Member guard of honours for NRL & NRLW
  • Junior Members leading the team out with Tino
  • Members sitting on the bench during the game
  • Members names and numbers on player warm up tops
  • Members receiving match-worn jerseys post-game
  • Member tossing the coin with club captains
  • Member phone call from Titans NRL players during the week
  • Members joined in the stands by NRLW players
  • Member presenting the official game ball
  • Surprise Member giveaways across the day
  • Member bonus ticket offer to bring a friend
  • Members added to NRL and NRLW official team lists
  • My Cruises and My Holiday voucher giveaways
  • And the list goes on...

The Titans Membership base, dubbed the Legion, has continued to grow year on year and with 2024 Membership to pen soon it will no doubt expand again in 2024 with the arrival of new head coach, Des Hasler.

The season isn't done yet though with a massive NRLW double header at Cbus Super Stadium this Sunday and a finals tilt in their sights, this season may well last to the first weekend in October!

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell said he is proud and delighted with the support of the club in 2023.

“We are so proud of our Gold Coast communities and the support they’ve showed for our club in 2023,” Mitchell told members exclusively last Friday.

"Our record number of members is what we want to see as a club. We want a name on every one of those seats at Cbus Super Stadium and we're nearly halfway there, which is really exciting for both our NRL and NRLW teams.

"We also want to continue making game days at home an event that everyone is excited for, and we want people to leave thinking 'wow, we can't wait to be back'.

"An essential part of our purpose is to inspire our communities through energy, which we think we are doing, and we hope to continue that in 2024 as we strive to continue building success on and off the field."

Gear up Titans fans the Legion is growing.
