Eight Future Titans selected in Queensland Under 17s squads

The Gold Coast are proud to announce eight Future Titans have been selected for the upcoming Queensland City v Country Under 17s representative clash to be played later this month.

The September 23 match at the Logan Metro Sports Complex will feature some of the game’s Coast's best male talent alongside other players from QRL’s statewide competitions.

Fans with a keen interest in following Queensland’s emerging stars have a lot to get enthusiastic about, with the boys’ match to get underway at 1.15pm after the Queensland Under 17 City versus Country girls’ clash at the new Logan venue.

Ray Puru, Sunny Kama, Sam Stephenson, Javon Andrews, Cooper Bai, Cory Pearse and Jac Finigan will represent City in the fixture; meanwhile, Bodhi Sharpley will represent Country.

Both Queensland male squads will enter camp on the Gold Coast on September 18 to begin preparations for the annual clash.

Former Titan Jordan Rankin has been appointed City coach, taking over from David Stagg.

For the Country squad, Queensland forward Antonio Kaufusi returns to the head coaching role after guiding last year’s team to a strong 38-20 victory.
