Six Titans named for Cup decider against former Coast favourite

It'll set to be a mouth-watering clash between a next generation Titan up and a former Gold Coast star when Burleigh meets the Brisbane Tigers in Sunday's Hostplus Cup grand final.

Rising teen sensation Keano Kini will line-up at fullback after an extraordinary 49 minutes on-field; running 218 metres, breaking the line three times, busting nine tackles and as chiming in with a first half double before being given the early mark ahead with a healthy 20-0 lead at the break.

He is set to take on Titan #156 Corey Thompson, who will wear the opposing No. 1 jersey having featured all year for the club where his career began, playing one last season after announcing his NRL retirement in 2022.

Also in action include Tony Francis and Ken Maumalo who will feature on the wings after scoring 27 tries between them in this year's Hostplus Cup; whilst reliable forwards Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui and Jacob Alick feature up front. Josiah Pahulu has been named in the reserves.
