Pre-season performers: Who is the fastest Titan?

Keano Kini has been crowned the fastest Titan in the Gold Coast's first block of pre-season training after a hotly-contested battle of the backs.

The 19-year-old topped the charts by clocking a speed of 35.3 kilometres per hour, edging out his fullback mentor AJ Brimson by the narrowest of margins to take the top honour.

Alofiana Khan-Pereira is currently third fastest with a top speed of 34.6 km/h, closely followed by new recruit Harley Smith Shields who has impressed with his 34.4 reading on the radar gun.

Rising star Jaylan De Groot rounds out the Titans top five with a speed of 34.1 km/h.

Beau Fermor is the fastest forward to have been clocked; the returning backrower on the tally board with a reading of 33 km/h.

Khan-Pereira was the fastest Gold Coast star during a match last season, recording a top speed of 36.1 km/h - the seventh fastest in the NRL.
