Titans fan favourite extends until '26

Rilee Jorgensen’s iconic pink headgear will continue to be a staple on the Gold Coast for a further three seasons with the young gun extending her time as a Titan until the end of 2026.

Joining the NRLW squad from the club’s female academy, the 18-year-old made eight appearances in 2023 after starring in her debut against Brisbane in Round 2, delivering one of the most replayed hits of the season in the local derby.

Eager to earn a starting spot and have Origin and Jillaroos selection on her radar in her upcoming second season, Titans coach Karyn Murphy is pleased to have Jorgensen re-commit to the Coast long-term.

“Getting the opportunity to see Rilee play firsthand throughout her junior years, it’s been a pleasure to personally watch her career develop and I always knew she had the potential to make it to the NRLW if she applied herself, especially with her high level of football awareness,” she said.

"She has continually taken every opportunity with both hands, from earning a contract after impressing in the Titans Academy to helping Burleigh win the BMD Premiership and finishing her year with a grand final appearance to culminate a strong debut season with the Titans.

"With the calibre of players we have in our squad that Rilee can continue to learn from, it’s a great environment for her to grow and develop into becoming one of the premier forwards in the NRLW."

Jorgensen is the third Titans forward to extend her time on the Gold Coast until at least 2026, following both Shannon Mato and Jessika Elliston re-committing until the end of 2027.
