Fantasy favourites: Five Titans to consider in 2024

With only just over a month away until Round 1, the race is on to draft the best NRL Fantasy and/or Super Coach team ready for the season ahead.

Always wanting to find players who offer plenty of value, Titans.com.au have identified five Gold Coast stars who are destined to score plenty of points and grow in price as the year progresses.

Fantasy favourites David Fifita and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui have been intentionally left off this list with the two powerhouse forwards already proven performers in the competition.

Beau Fermor

EDG - $660k

It's no secret how determined Beau Fermor is to get back on the field and dominate again in 2024 after an ACL rupture cruelled his previous season, and should the Origin prospect exceed the heights of his 2022 season, he will be one to watch in 2024.

The 25-year-old was the leading try scorer in his last season having dominated on the edge, alongside his ability to break the line and make valuable metres with pinpoint accuracy. Fermor is also extremely an ever reliable defender, averaging over 90 percent efficiency in his career to date.

Expect big things from the Dalby Devil in 2024.

Keenan Palasia

MID - $393k

The Titans recruit is expected to play big minutes for his new club after finishing the year off strong for the Broncos, including 42 minutes in the grand final. Not only did he impress with his go forward - running around 105 metres per appearance - but a solid defensive demeanour saw him average 21 tackles a game at 94 percent efficiency.

Already 2.7 percent of the competition have secured Palasia, who is considered a bargain given his pre-season price, with him only expected to rise in the opening rounds after his first few showings for the Titans.

Jayden Campbell

WFB - $459k

The son of a gun truly is a weapon... especially when he has the No. 1 on his back.

Expecting to return to fullback full-time in 2024, Campbell has quickly become a Fantasy favourite with over 30 percent of fans having him in their Round 1 squad - being the eighth most in-demand player across the competition.

It's no secret what Campbell brings to a game with his electrifying flair... breaking plenty of tackles, making a mountain of line breaks and keeping the crowd entertained with his excitement;

Priced at $459k before a ball has been kicked has been deemed 'a steal' by many, with his value expected to skyrocket when he takes to the field for the Titans in 2024.

Sam Verrills

HOK - $553k

The dynamic No. 9 has had a rough patch with injury since joining the Titans, but having surgery last season to ensure he can remain on the field in 2024 is why Sam Verrills is a great Fantasy option.

Winning a competition in his debut season, the 25-year-old is a classy rake who has flown under the radar in recent times due to being sidelined, but that is all about to change this year.

Averaging 37 tackles a game at 93 percent efficiency last season, Verrills is expected to be a stronghold again in the middle, helping steer the attack as a vital member of the spine and should offer plenty of value again having given fans 40.2 points a game in 2023.

Josiah Pahulu

MID - $200k

Pahulu is a player to have listed in the Fantasy black book.

Whilst not expected to play in Round 1, the 2022 Australian Schoolboy powerhouse has been the talk of pre-season training, earning accolades from many senior players for his work ethic and application to the tough days at Parkwood.

The 19-year-old is a no-nonsense prop who always makes plenty of metres, especially post-contact, and will look to keep the middle tight defensively.

At only $200k, the young gun is one to keep an eye on for when he gets his start in the NRL, which is tipped by many to be sometime this season.
