Haas charged after Dolphins trial

Gold Coast Titans backrower Klese Haas has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following his sides trial match with the Dolphins on the Sunshine Coast yesterday.

Haas received a grade one contrary conduct charge after an accidental hair pull on Gerome Burns in the 50th minute.

An early guilty pleas will see Haas fines $1,000 while contesting the charge and losing would see a fine of $1,500.

Haas is one of the leading contenders to replace the injured David Fifita for the Titans come round 1 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.
