Judiciary update: Tino Fa'asuamaleaui

Tino Fa'asuamaleaui has elected to take the early guilty plea following his shoulder charge in Saturday's clash against the Dragons.

In good news, the Gold Coast captain won't miss any matches and will only be served with a $3,000 fine, making him available for the club's next match against the Bulldogs in Round 3.

Earlier...

Gold Coast captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui has been charged by the match review committee following the Titans' Round 1 clash against the Dragons on Saturday night.

Despite not being penalised nor placed on report on-field, the enforcer has been hit with a Grade 1 Shoulder Charge on St George Illawarra winger Mikaele Ravalawa in the second minute in what is deemed to be his second offence.

But in good news for the Titans leader, the early guilty plea will only result in a $3,000 fine. Should he elect to fight the charge and be found guilty at the hearing, he will miss two matches - that being Round 3 against the Bulldogs and Round 4 against the Dolphins.

No plea has been submitted at this time.
