Over 21 Titans in action this weekend despite bye

Whilst the Titans may be on a bye this weekend in the NRL, there will still be a number of players in action across both the Hostplus Cup and BMD Premiership.

Round 2 of the respective competitions will see at least seven men and 13 women take part in the Queensland competitions with representation across a number of teams.

The Ipswich Jets will be hoping to bounce back from their narrow season opening loss when they take on Western Clydesdales on Sunday afternoon.

Helping them to a hopeful victory includes Ken Maumalo, Aaron Schoupp, Harley Smith-Shields, Josiah Pahulu, Arama Hau, Jaylan De Groot and Ryan Foran.

Tweed haven't named any Titans in their Tuesday team list for their Hostplus Cup fixture against Souths Logan, but it's expected several Gold Coast contracted players will drop back this weekend.

In the BMD Premiership competition, representative winger Emily Bass will make her return from a shoulder injury when she joins four other Titans teammates in the Wynnum Manly Seagulls line-up against the Capras in Rockhampton.

Four NRLW representatives will feature in the Souths Logan v Tweed fixture; Chantay Kiria-Ratu and Malaela Sua lining up for the Magpies, whilst Lily Kolc and Zara Canfield will be in action for the Seagulls.

Shannon Mato will again captain the Tigers in their quest against Norths, and Lauren Brown, Dannii Perese and Rilee Jorgensen will be wanting to make it two from two against the Clydesdales.

NRL development playmaker Ryder Williams will also be in action for the Tweed Seagulls Mal Meninga Cup clash against Souths Logan.
