Locked in: Foran confirmed to make Belmore return

Kieran Foran has been confirmed to return to his old stomping ground against his former side as the Titans prepare to face the Bulldogs at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday.

Having fully completed both main training sessions at Parkwood earlier this week, the 33-year-old had no troubles in Friday's captain's run, as he prepares to steer the ship in his first game for the Gold Coast in 2024.

"I had a great week training… I trained the full session Tuesday and full session today and pulled up fine," Foran told media on Thursday.

"I’m looking forward to getting out there.

"As I’ve said previously, I’ve had a great pre-season and was really confident in my body heading into Round 1, but unfortunately didn’t quite get there (due to a minor hamstring injury).

"I’ve responded really well over the last week and a half and it helped having the bye in Round 2.

"I feel as good as I’ve ever felt."

Set to break a 1,763-day hiatus since he last played at the home of Canterbury-Bankstown, Foran is one of five Titans who have featured at the iconic venue before; alongside AJ Brimson, Phil Sami, Moeaki Fotuaika and Keenan Palasia.

Ahead of the Saturday afternoon clash, coach Des Hasler has confirmed no changes to his 19-man squad; with Jacob Alick, Tom Weaver and Josiah Pahulu dropping off the extended bench - the trio to represent their respective clubs in this weekend's Hostplus Cup Rivalry Round.

Kick-off is at 3pm AEDT (2pm QLD) on Saturday, March 23 at Belmore Sports Ground.
