Injury update: Tino Fa'asuamaleaui

The Titans can confirm Tino Fa’asuamaleaui will miss the remainder of the 2024 season after scans revealed the captain to have ruptured his ACL in Saturday’s Round 3 clash against the Bulldogs.

In a devastating blow for the Gold Coast forward, he will now meet with medical staff to outline his rehabilitation.

Titans captain Tino Fa’asuamaleaui has been sent for scans after leaving the field in the 62nd minute of the Round 3 clash against the Bulldogs.

Sidelined for the remainder of the game with a knee complaint, Titans coach Des Hasler spoke on the injury post-match, wishing to dismiss any speculation on the severity until medical results returned for the Gold Coast skipper.

"It's definitely his knee. That can range anywhere between his MCL and ACL," he said.

"Once we get confirmation around that through scans, we'll know more... but it didn't look good walking off.

"We won't know until it's confirmed, so we won't worry about speculating."

Titans.com.au will provide a further update once scan results have returned.
