Judiciary update: Fifita, Fotuaika charged after Round 5

Two Titans have been charged by the match review committee following the Round 5 clash against the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.

David Fifita has been hit with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact on North Queensland forward Griffin Neame in the 22nd minute in what is deemed to be his second offence.

Moeaki Fotuaika has also been hit with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact on Cowboys fullback Scott Drinkwater in the 74th minute in what is also deemed to be his second offence.

But in good news for both Titans forwards, the early guilty plea will only result in a $1,800 fines. Should they elect to fight the charge and be found guilty at the hearing, they will be fined $2,500.

No plea has been submitted at this time.
