Injury update: Titans lose third young gun for '24 season

The Gold Coast Titans can confirm they will be without another young star for the 2024 season with Chantay Kiria-Ratu to miss the upcoming NRLW campaign due to a knee injury. 

Coming from the field in only the 2nd minute playing for Souths Logan in last weekend’s BMD Premiership clash against the Clydesdales, scans have revealed the 2023 rookie of the year requires surgery for a ruptured ACL.

Facing a lengthy stint on the sidelines, the entire club is right behind her in her recovery.

In what is another devastating blow with Kiria-Ratu the third Titan set to miss the upcoming season following Destiny Mino-Sinapati and Ivana Lolesio also requiring knee surgery, the Titans have again begun the process with the NRL to have a replacement player approved to join the top 24 roster following the playmaker’s injury.

Its anticipated replacement players for Mino-Sinapati and Lolesio will be announced in the coming days.
