In an exciting first for the club, Titans Netball will compete with two Under 19 squads alongside the Open's team in the EPL series with Hamilton praising the wealth of talent on display at the trials.

'It came down to looking at the enormous amount of talent that we have on the Gold Coast and taking the opportunity to nurture that talent in our Titans environment," she told titans.com.au.

"Looking ahead to State Titles for 2025, while we have those young athletes in the two Under 19 squads, it makes a lot of sense for us as a club to train those eligible players in the Titans way.

"For the Open girls, our priority is to make sure no matter who is playing in that EPL sides, they're able to step up into the Ruby or Sapphire competitions if required."

As a new wave of 2024 EPL players step up into the Ruby and Sapphire squads for 2025, Hamilton commended the calibre of emerging talent - highlighting the effectiveness of Titans Netball’s pathways in fostering players' development.

"The Titans Yellow EPL squad had a great campaign at the recent State Titles and were able to back that up at the trials, so they were definitely worthy of their positions in the Ruby and Sapphire squads," she said.

"It just shows how quickly the development can take place once you have the right structures locked in.

"Also, just looking at all the success the club has had with our Schools Competition has really highlighted how much talent is out there with the girls but also the boys, which is another exciting space for the club.

"Overall, it's just really good to see that the Gold Coast kids are getting the opportunities they deserve through our club."

After a notably successful campaign within the EPL competition in 2024 - with Titans Blue securing the premiership following a thrilling knockout of Titans Yellow en route to the final - it's no surprise the club is setting its sights on yet another head-to-head showdown.

"Our goal in 2025 is definitely to see our Opens in the grand final, alongside the two Under 19's up against each other in finals as well," Hamilton said.

"All of our teams are very capable of making that happen with the depth they hold."
