Future Titans young gun extends to '28

Young gun Jai Bilish has extended his time on the Gold Coast until 2028 with the dynamic dummy-half to begin his NRL journey at Parkwood.

Having been part of the club's pathways program since 2022, the 16-year-old has quickly excelled with the Future Titans and developed an impressive resume in the past 12 months.

Helping Palm Beach Currumbin to Queensland and National Schoolboy Cup titles off the bench last year, he also played in the Under 17 Cyril Connell Cup a year younger than a majority of the competition and made the South Coast open's side to compete at the Queensland Schoolboy selection carnival.

Hailing from a rugby league family, Jai's older brother Roko also featured for PBC in last year's Allan Langer Trophy and his younger brother Ike has just inked his first contract with the Titans.

Club engagement, critical stakeholders and pathways manager Paul Stephenson said Bilish's opportunity to transition to the full-time NRL program after school is a testament to his hard-work and the club’s Future Titans program, which has helped several other players progress in 2025.

"Jai has really excelled over the last 18 months in our Future Titans program and with affiliate school Palm Beach Currumbin and we’re proud he’ll continue his journey with us here at the club," he said.

"He's a great young player who has a bright future in the game and epitomises our pathways performance attributes of effort, attitude and desire.

"His family are also entrenched in rugby league here on the Gold Coast with his younger brother Ike now also part of our junior program.

"His progression through our Future Titans pathways is a testament to that program and its development, with Jai following in the footsteps of several other homegrown talents who have just transitioned to our NRL squad in a train-and-trial and/or full-time capacity."
