Injury report: Near full squad available for trial selection

The Titans will have a majority of their squad fit and available for selection for the upcoming Pre-Season Challenge, giving coach Des Hasler plenty to consider ahead of his first team list announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

Facing the Broncos in Toowoomba on Sunday, below is an update from Gold Coast's casualty award ahead of the clash.

Tino Fa'asuamaleaui

The Gold Coast skipper has resumed to full training with the group after recovery from his ACL rupture, now full of excitement to make his NRL Telstra Premiership return in 2025 after missing all but the entirety of last season.

Reagan Campbell-Gillard

The representative prop has been progressing well from his shoulder injury but will miss the club's two pre-season challenge trials. Having begun his integration back to full training, Campbell-Gillard is expected to be fully fit for the Titans' season opener against the Bulldogs.

Harley Smith-Shields

Smith-Shields is tracking well in recovery after back surgery in January, with the aim to begin rehab training in the next fortnight. He is expecting to be back to full fitness mid-season.

Carter Gordon

As reported on Sunday, Gordon is currently battling a back complaint and will miss the Titans' two trial matches against the Broncos and Dolphins. It’s hoped he’ll return to training shortly, currently monitored by Titans fitness staff.

Ben Liyou

Liyou is completing the final stages of his rehab after rupturing his ACL in action for Ipswich mid last-season, expecting to begin full integration to training in the next month. It's hoping he'll be available for selection in the early rounds of the season.

Sean Mullany

The full-time train-and-triallist is progressing well in rehab after sustaining a quad strain during pre-season training. He'll miss the two NRL trial matches but is aiming to be available for the start of the season.
