Titans retain NRLW trailblazer for '25

Titans vice captain Brittany Breayley-Nati will play on in 2025 and continue her stellar career on the Gold Coast.

Now entering her fifth campaign at Parkwood, the 33-year-old is a key member of the club’s leadership group alongside New Zealand International Georgia Hale, with the duo leading the side to a maiden grand final appearance in 2023.

No stranger to receiving top honours, the former Queensland and Jillaroos rake was crowned the inaugural NRLW player of the year in 2018 before bringing her wealth of experience to the Titans, where she was appointed leader in the club's debut season.

Having been a core part of the NRLW franchise since its inception, Breayley-Nati will look to close in on her 50th appearance in what will be her seventh season at the top level.

NRLW coach Karyn Murphy is proud to see the experienced forward further her time on the Gold Coast, praising her significant impact as a leader within the team.

"I'm absolutely thrilled with Britto's decision to stay on board for another year with the club," she said.

"She's an incredible role model for the girls, both on and off the field and has stepped up every season to help guide our spine.

"Her unwavering attention to detail, relentless determination and impressive work ethic shine through in her exceptional on-field performances week-in, week-out; making her a crucial source of inspiration for our squad.

"We had a lot of young debutants across the season last year, so having an experienced campaigner like Britto support our next generation of players to help find their feet has been instrumental for us as a club."

Championing the phrase to help bring the first premiership to the region during the 2023 NRLW finals series, Breayley-Nati is hungry to go one better with the Titans in 2025, driven by their heartbreaking grand final defeat to the Knights in the dying stages.

"I’ve called the Gold Coast home for eight years now and I’m honoured I’ve been given another opportunity to represent Australia’s piece of paradise," she said.

"After reflecting on last year and our grand final defeat in 2023, it’s obvious we have unfinished business.

"Win or lose there’s always room for improvement, but we are starving at the thought of making our community proud again after such a rewarding year in 2023.

"We want to go one better though and bring gold for Gold."
