Titans prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard says his busted nose will be fine for Saturday's ANZAC Round clash against the Cowboys in Townsville.

Raiders forward Joseph Tapine collected him high, causing the nose to bleed for the remainder of the round seven clash.

Campbell-Gillard says it won't keep him off the park and he'll be good to go for the trip to North Queensland.

"it sort of comes with the game and how we play but yeah it's just a little shiner on the snoz," he said.

"I'll get on with it and we've got to find a way this week to turn it around.

"I'll be fine, I'll just try and manage it this week."

Many commentators rated RCG's game against the Raiders as his best in Titans colours, but the representative forward was quick to say that his best is still to come as he works his way back from a pre-season injury.

"I'm still trying to find my feet within the team," he said.

"I missed the majority of the pre-season with my shoulder so I'm just trying to play a a bit of catchup to try and fit in and see how everyone operates.

"The more games that I get to be playing with the team on a consistent basis, I think my game will keep improving.

"It's (form) not there at the moment where I want it to be, but it'll come in the next few weeks I think.

"You get to find out in the pre-season and work on combinations and I missed the majority of that.

"Having a good combination and consistency with the 17 that are on the field ... that will come and I think winning makes it a lot easier as well.

"In the next few weeks we should get everyone back and have a full strength team and have people fit and healthy .... it's not an excuse though, but it obviously is a help for our cause.

"We'll improve, we have to improve and we'll be better."

After three losses on the trot, Campbell-Gillard says it is the periods directly before and after halftime that is costing his team.  He says the players are working to address the issue and says the coaching staff has done everything possible to have the side ready to perform.

"I think there is a bit of a lapse in a ten minute window before and after halftime and that's where we are coming undone," he said.

"We lose some concentration and let the team in and they get a sniff and go on with that.

"They (coaches) have done everything possible to get us up for a game and it's up to us to put in a performance across 80 minutes.

"I thought we started really well (against Canberra) ... we are letting teams in and then it's too hard to crawl back.

"It's something we need to fix ... we've got to find a way to win."
